About the artist

I’m Kirsten — I paint the quiet moments

My life has been centered around art for as long as I can remember. Raised by two fine artists and art educators, I was taught from a young age how to observe and find inspiration in the world’s quietest moments. I was painting and drawing as soon as I could read and write.

That early exposure led me to a competitive fine art magnet high school, where I received intensive daily studio instruction for four years. While I ultimately pursued my degree and career in elementary education, my creative practice never stopped. With over 7,500 hours of technical experience, I’ve now returned to my studio to share these small-scale original works.

The creative process

Observation first

My work is mostly observation-based, capturing nature-inspired subjects across a variety of mediums — the Pacific Northwest’s trails, gardens, and coastlines are my constant reference.

The materials

Built to last

I use professional-grade materials where it matters most for longevity — archival papers, professional Conte crayons, and high-clarity Sumi inks — so each piece is a lasting, hand-created original.

The boutique experience

Packed like it matters

When you see my work in that special place you’ve made for it — or watch someone you love unwrap it — I hope it brings you a smile. Every order is handled with a teacher’s attention to detail and protected by high-quality shipping materials.
